Jase A. Brown

Jase is a partner with Baron Samson and represents plaintiffs and defendants in all types of commercial disputes in state courts, federal courts and arbitrations across the country.  Jase has extensive experience handling complex construction law, surety law and general commercial law matters.  In addition to litigation, Jase frequently represents sureties in distressed contractor workouts and transactions, intercreditor transactions, bankruptcies, and performance and payment bond claims.

Jase joined Baron Samson after spending several years working for one of the largest law firms in New Jersey.  Prior to that, Jase served as a law clerk for the Honorable Nelson C. Johnson of the New Jersey Superior Court – Civil Division.  Additionally, in law school Jase was an extern for the Honorable Lois H. Goodman, U.S.M.J., of the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey.

Jase graduated magna cum laude from Rutgers Law School and served as the Associate Managing Editor of the Rutgers Law Review.  He earned his B.B.A. from West Texas A&M University.  Jase is admitted to practice in all state and federal courts in New Jersey and New York, and regularly appears pro hac vice in complex litigations throughout the country.

Jase has been named to the New Jersey Super Lawyers Rising Stars list for the past three years (2023-2025), which is a distinction reserved for the top 5% of lawyers in the state under 40 or with fewer than 10 years of practice.

In his free time, Jase enjoys fine-tuning his golf game and playing bucket list golf courses across the country.
